About Michael Czarny Music
Music is the Journey
Music has the power to transport us to another time and place. I love to harness that power with a broad audience of fellow music lovers and passionate musicians alike. Ever since a young age, I have found great joy and satisfaction by being involved in the creative music process. I started out singing in the church youth choir, playing in the church orchestra, I also played keyboard in my Dad's vocal quartet "Revival", played in musicals and for weddings with the school band, then later played keyboard for the South Eastern Youth Choir in Melbourne. My Passion for Music & Music Production
I have been blessed & gifted in playing the piano & saxophone, and have developed an ear for high fidelity sound engineering. I love sharing my talent & collaborating with other musicians. M.A.C. Productions Studio allows me to arrange then record my client's work, then mix and master the final masterpiece. I would love to help you lay down your tracks, then mix and master them. One of my services I offer is to produce customised Backing Tracks / Performance Trax. I would be more than happy to produce your personal customised backing track to your satisfaction. What You Need
Guitars, Basses, Amps & Synths
We have a number of guitars & bases for your perusal - Fender Stratocaster with EMG lace pickups, Ramon Sanches Classical guitar, Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass, Warwick Streamer LX, Yamaha DG 60FX-112 Guitar Amplifier. A top of the range Yamaha upright piano is available for the recording session. A host of keyboards, modules & synths are available (see list near the bottom of the website)
An Excellent Selection of Professional Microphones to capture Your sound
We have a range to microphones to select from to best match your vocals & instruments.
Channel Input Pre-amps / Mixing
The Universal Audio Apollo Quad is our primary analogue to digital I/O system which feeds 8x balanced line inputs & 4x microphone inputs to the DAW. Another 16 channels of both I/O are available to/from optical ADAT S/MUX connectors. Also digital I/O as S/PDIF is available. The Creamware A16 Ultra can be connected to provide another 16x balanced inputs & outputs if required. The STT-1 Millennia Media Origin Recording System provides twin topology (solid state or valve) pre-amp, compression, de-essing & equalisation for channels feeding the Apollo. This creates a very high sonic quality & highly musical sound. Furthermore, a large selection of pre-amps are available from UAD plugins (such as Neve, SSL, Manley, Pultec, see complete list near the bottom of this website). A Mackie 8 Bus, 24 channel mixer is available where more analogue channels are required (eg. miking up a drum kit)
Acoustically Treated Recording Studio
Our studio is predominantly acoustically treated with RPG diffusor products. These are well known their innovative first class absorption & diffusion products. RPG's products are second to none. The excellent result is that mixes and masters are sonically transferable from our studio to other listening environments.
